7 Places I Visited in Philadelphia

1. Philadelphia Museum of Art
This is where the iconic rocky balboa statue is. I had done the running up the stairs and doing the balboa pose earlier this year, it's a fun philly must-do. Everyone does it :).

2. The Italian Market
I think that at one time this market may have been Italian ( I mean there are Italian shops) but its more of a local street market run by mexicans. There's lots to see and inexpensive groceries.

3. Penn Museum
My favourite of the ancient eras is Egypt. I find the pyramids, mummies, and hieroglyphics all so intriguing. The Penn Museum had lots of artifacts, information, and the mummies are impressive.

4. The Penitentiary
I was most excited for this. I ended up going by myself, so it was kind of scary but still totally worth it. I don't know if it's just me, but I love experiences like these! The pamphlet described the place to have an eerie beauty and I agree. The last photograph is of an escape rope they found made out of bed sheets!

5. Reading Terminal Market
Inside the Reading Terminal Market are local bakeries, meat shops, groceries, and other cute shops selling candles and soaps. If you've been to Pikes Place in Seattle on the west coast, thats what it reminds me of (except its less pricey here). This is also where I had my first philly cheesesteak - It was real good after running around sightseeing.

6. Love Park
Philadelphia - the city of brotherly love. They usually have a fountain running behind the letters, but since Christmas is around the corner, they had a huge christmas tree up, pretty cute.

7. Frankford Hall
The best for last. It was really nice here, I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. Especially in the evening, when they have the heaters and fire pits going, and the little holiday lights are on.

Hope you enjoyed the photographs.
