Facial Scrubs are bad for the Environment

Yes, it is a bit odd that my nose appears missing.

Kyle found this face scrub that uses bamboo bits as a facial exfoliant instead of plastic micro beads found in a lot of common face scrubs. This is an important consumer choice for us as being environmentally friendly is something we try to be conscience of daily.

here are a few links explaining why these micro beads are not good for the environment:

And this is a link to where you can purchase the bamboo facial scrub we love: *not sponsored ;)*

Vegan Friendly Philly

I am no longer in Philly anymore - moved on to bigger and better ;). But in all seriousness, Philly was an awesome city to be living vegan. There are so many vegan restaurants, vegan friendly restaurants, and vegan treat shops! Such as Dotti's Donuts. Kyle and I decided to make the trek out to West Philly and let me say there was no looking back :). Sometimes you just gotta treat choself.

At the moment, I am in Montreal - it's been a bit gloomy the past couple of days, but I'm looking forward to next week, all sun and shine.
