Gardein Beefless Tips Review

All I did was sizzle them on the pan for 5-6 minutes and they were good to eat! I gave them an 8.5 out of 10. The way they are seasoned is delicious. The 'beef' bits do not feel as though you are eating steak but the texture is definitely 'meaty'. Tender as though slow-cooked I would say. Overall, I love this brand, the chicken tenders they come up with are my favourite. I tried them on their own but they would be awesome cooked into a stir-fry meal. Try it! Vegan has never been so easy.

Vegan Options at Timhortons

After being away from home for so long, it's really nice to see Tim Hortons everywhere, especially in Montreal :). There were things I enjoyed the years before when I was not vegan - ice caps, french vanillas, etc. But it has become time to be more responsible and make more ethical purchases.

I've looked up the Vegan options Tim Hortons has to offer so here they are:
  • Most bagels are vegan (Caramel Apple Bagel, Cinnamon Raisin, Sesame Seen, Plain, Onion, Everything, Pretzel)
  • Hashbrowns
  • English muffins
  • Homestyle biscuits
  • Oatmeal
  • Heart Vegetable soup with a soup roll
  • and coffee course - I'm having mine iced here in the photo :)
I hope this was helpful!

Vegan Beaver Tails on Canada day

One more month in Montreal! Canada Day was a couple days ago! I decided to head downtown to Ste Catherine for the Parade and then to went straight to Old Port for fun Canada day festivities. Unfortunately the angry clouds rolled in so I made the decision not to stay for the fireworks. However, I did make sure to treat myself to a very nice beaver tail! There were so many food trucks at Old Port! The ladies working behind the truck were so kind and made sure I had my vegan cinnamon sugar beaver tail! It was delicious to say the least.

I am so lucky and proud to call myself Canadian for so many reasons. And thankful!
